Commtact delivered dozens of its advanced IDLS MkII

Commtact Ltd has recently delivered the first batch of its Integrated Data Link System MkII (IDLS MkII). The system was delivered to an undisclosed customer after passing successfully factory acceptance test.

The IDLS MKII is based on cutting edge technologies and combines advanced performance, modularity and light weight. Moreover, the IDLS MKII is a software defined data link which enables the system to make adaptations to costumer requirements in short time with minimal effort.

The IDLS MKII is ideal for manned and unmanned platforms; it is a perfect solution for TUAS and consists of an Airborne Data Terminal (ADT) and a Ground Data Terminal (GDT). The system enables ground forces to receive real time video images by using Remote Video Terminals (RVT).
The IDLS MKII receives serial digital data, IP data; analog and digital video images and other sensor outputs.

It provides advanced data multiplexing capability, advanced compression technology, FEC coding and more.
The IDLS MkII is based on Commtact's proven legacy in data link solutions.
